hey my dog is a collie X she has GDV in June 2007, she pulled through, we are so lucky. Thanks to the wonderful vets

My German shepherd dog died of bloat (GDV) last week. It's an incredibly deadly condition that deep-chested dogs are prone to. They'll go from exuberant and healthy to dead in an hour. God bless those that fight to save a dying dog (these graceful acts are one of humanities very few redeeming qualities).
