That's funny, I didn't notice that topknot. I'm just feeling sassy because I had to put my 12 year old best friend to sleep this week. I know you meant nothing bad in your earlier post. My point was just that those old Osters are crazy heavy but people like me who were trained years ago can use them with as much skill as with the new lighter ones. Glad I don't have to tho, my eyes are thankful for encased motors!

my bad for the typo, unfortunately I couldn't correct it after I hit post, but anyways... I am only commenting on the fact they are heavy and old. I didnt say anything about the job that she does, but since you brought it up...I am going to say that I dont think it looks good for the simple that that the topknot is lopsided....perhaps she wasnt done and it looked better after.

Oyster? They're called Oster, I was trained with them and they are like dinosaurs but I could do just as good with them as I do with the light ones I use now. That groomer obviously knows her job and is comfortable with them. I think her poodle looks beautiful.

It doesn't hurt the dog, nor make it uncomfortable. It also allows you to work more quickly and safely and since grooming is a tedious job for both the groomer and the dog, it works out for everybody.
