Use the bottom hand to grab the fur to have something to hold onto so it dosen't slip or flop around. Now they are recommending 1 breath to every compression. I work in the animal ER.CT

that happened to my dog he was begging and he didnt even chew i was almost done with my food when my dad noticed he wasnt breathing because he wasnt coughing good thing he was stiil concious he probably didnt have air fo 30 sec poor thing still alive it really is scary thinking ur dog is gonna die a push at his stomach and the whole chunk of meat came out and then he started panting poor thing i dont know what i would have done without him u konw him dieing thank god he didnt
